Medical Masks
Medical masks (both procedure and surgical) are loose fitting masks that cover the mouth and nose. They are designed to stop large droplets and splashes or sprays.

Procedure vs. Surgical Masks
Procedure masks are used to protect from the transfer of respiratory secretions, fluids or other debris. They have earloops for quick donning and can be worn without a surgical cap.

Surgical masks are used in the OR or other sterile environments to protect against contaminated fluid or debris generated during a procedure. They have ties so that they can be adjusted for fit.

Testing Standards
We carry masks tested against both the North American ASTM standards (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) as well as European EN14683 standards (Type I, TypeII, Type IIR). It is the medical facility's responsibility to determine the test standard required for their specific use case.
